That was a perfect introduction, thanks Mike. We're going to talk about my journey a little bit. So I started as an arthroscopy reviewer in 2006, and after well over 100 views, you get asked to be part of the editorial board, and that was in 2011, and I continued to review, and then just recently was asked to be an associate editor, which I'm thrilled for the opportunity. There are benefits to being a reviewer. It does take time and effort, but you get to keep up to date on the most recent research. You can enhance your teaching and professional skills, and it benefits your own personal research and publications. I have learned so much by reading other people's works. So this is just here to demonstrate the hierarchy of the journal, and you just heard that our fearless leader, Dr. Lebowitz, does an amazing job of mentoring all of us kind of through the ranks, slowly but surely. So how to get involved and be successful. So one, get started early. So as you just heard, sign up, be a reviewer. When you first start, it is not overwhelming. Have a plan. Make sure that you, when you do sign up, that you are really, truly interested. It does take time to do these reviews. You need to be organized, you need to be committed. Know your strengths. If reading articles and writing papers are not your strength, then perhaps climbing through Anna through the Arthroscopy Journal is not the right route for you. Be humble. Be hardworking. Be responsible. Be on time. If you're not able to do a review, decline it. If you accepted a review, but something came up and you're not going to be able to finish it on time, then let the editors know. So communication is going to be key. Remember that complicated does not always equal good when you're reviewing these papers. When you do review them, you don't want to be harsh. Someone put a lot of time and effort and work into this, and so these reviews are constructive, but not critical. Offering specific suggestions, especially back in the confidential comments to the editors, is extremely important and helpful. General comments are really not helpful to anyone, so be specific. If something didn't make sense or you've seen a recent paper, cite it. Let us know. Let the authors know. And as I mentioned, the confidential comments that you can offer are really important. And what we know is leadership is about making others better, and I look at reviewing articles as an opportunity to do that. So reviewing articles is good practice, because what you're doing is you're trying to make these authors' papers better. And so it's a good opportunity to help them, and in doing so, you help yourself. So as you've already heard, sign up, get involved. It truly is great camaraderie. Even though you're not working with these people on a daily basis, you do get to know them, and it truly is a great opportunity for your own learning. Thank you.
