All right, thank you so much, Michael, for a great program. The esteemed Dr. Arce and I have the pleasure of introducing this first debate. Okay, the history. So this is a 17-year-old baseball player. His parents say he's destined for greatness. He's a left-hand center fielder. He dislocated his left shoulder diving for a ball in center field. Shoulder popped in, popped out. It's only the first time. It occurred July before his senior season, which is important because he's being recruited by all Division I schools. Three days later, you see him in the office. He has left shoulder discomfort, no obvious deformities. Range of motion is about 120 degrees. He has some apprehension. Anterior load and shift is positive at 90. Posterior load and shift, mild jerk test. Oh, sorry, negative jerk test. Strength is good, neuro intact, five out of five deltoid. So what do you do? Well, let's get some imaging. As you can see here. Pretty straightforward, small, hill sacks, little bit of a bank card, no bony deformity. He also has a dislocated biceps, but that's congenital. Has absolutely nothing to do with this case. So the question, what is the best surgical treatment for this promising young athlete player with dominant shoulder first-time dislocation?
