Video Summary
A highly active snowboarder developed persistent knee pain after meniscectomy and microfracture. Two cartilage implants were placed on the medial femoral condyle, enabling his return to acrobatic surfing. Imaging and arthroscopy showed excellent cartilage repair and integration over seven years, with no medial knee pain. He later developed new anterior knee pain from a large trochlear lesion. Arthroscopy removed loose fragments, and injections were given; further cartilage implantation may be considered if symptoms persist.
