Thank you. Thank you for the introduction. I'm David Maldonado from the American Hip Institute, and first of all, I want to acknowledge my team that helped me put together this paper, Drs. Lasseter, Peretz, Ortiz, Chen, Lowell, and Dr. Daum. So this paper is about the effect of the complete tearing of the LT ligament in patients undergoing hyparthroscopy for a femoral acetabular impingement labeled tear. So the disclosure can be found in the Academy website. In the background, we used to think about the LT tear about a vestigial or a useless structure, but right now I think there is an evolution about the perception of the LT tear. And right now we know that it might be related to hip stability and also hip proprioception. It can also be an important cause of pain as well. So the prevalence of LT pathology in FII patients can be as high as 50 percent, and usually debridement can provide short-term relief of these patients, but the reason behind that may be that usually there's only partial tears on that prevalence numbers. So the purpose of this study was to compare the outcomes of patients with FII-labeled tears who also have complete LT tears and compare to a match per control group with intact LT. And we also want to explore and report the risk of THA conversion in those patients. For the methods, we respectively revealed the data from 2008-2015. We include all the primary hip scopes in patients with FII-labeled tear treatment with complete LT tear, and also this is a minimum two years follow-up paper with several PROs as well. And we basically exclude any person with arthritis, work comps, and previous hip conditions or surgeries. So we create two groups. Group 1, FII-labeled tear, complete LT tear, and the control group, FII-labeled tear, intact LT. So we did a match, 3-to-1, based on age, sex, BMI, capsule treatment, and acetabular artebris grade. We also did a priority power analysis, and we also calculated the MCID and PAS for the modified Harris-Gibbs score. So on the result, you can see here that at the end, we finished with 18 complete LT cases with a confirmed two years follow-up, and we were able to match those patients with 54 control patients. On the demographics, as a result of the matching process, you can see that there is no difference between sex, age, and BMI, but also there were no difference between the Tony's grade, Tony's angle, LCE, ACE, alpha angle, and the follow-up as well. So in the intraoperative findings, patients also were pretty similar, just with the exception of the LT condition. On the intraoperative procedures, also were pretty similar, no difference. And in the improvement, we can see that both groups achieve significant and favorable outcomes at two years follow-up, with the exception for the complete LT-TER of the HOSSSS. However, when we analyzed the delta values in the preoperative and follow-up at two years, they were no difference between the two groups. The only thing is that when we compared the conversion rate to THA, we found significant numbers, and we also calculated the relative risk conversion of THA in this group, and we found that the LT group were three times higher risk to conversion to THA. In regards to PASS, there were no difference, and also no difference in MCID. So the big question is, in the discussion, significant improvement in both groups can be expected, no difference between the two groups. We have to pay a little attention about the conversion to THA. However, we don't know the real cause besides this. We cannot tell based on this study that this is a cause-effect relationship here, and the strengths can be noticed here, also the limitations, maybe a multi-center study will be the next step.
