Meniscus Preservation: Repair to Replace

Upon completion, participants should:

  • Have a good understanding of meniscal function and biology of healing – including the role of biologic augmentation for repair.
  • Understand meniscal repair options both all-inside and inside-out, as well as options for root repair and significance of extrusion and the role of centralization.
  • Have increased knowledge of meniscal ramp lesions and their repair, along with the role and techniques for meniscal transplantation.
  • Be able to observe "real world" meniscal case videos with debates among faculty as best treatment option with opportunity for participants' questions and interaction.
