Save the Meniscus: A Case-Based Discussion on the Management of Complex Meniscal Pathology

This ICL reviews the evidence base for common options for biologics in meniscus repair and how to introduce them into your practice (focus on setup, OR efficiency and reimbursement).

Upon completion, participants should be able to:

  • Understand important anatomical and biomechanical differences between different meniscal repair techniques.
  • Learn about cutting-edge treatment options for the management of complex meniscal pathology.
  • Understand the impact of chronicity of ACL injury on the incidence and type of meniscal pathology to aid appropriate index of suspicion and reduce rates of missed diagnoses and determine the most appropriate repair technique depending on the type of meniscus tear.
