ICL 205: Elbow Arthritis in the Young Athlete
Target Audience
The primary target audience of the Arthroscopy Association of North America is members and non-members who desire to improve their arthroscopic knowledge and skills. Secondary audiences include international members, residents/fellows and other allied health professionals.
Statement of Need
The need for this internet enduring activity has been determined based on identifying professional practice gaps, review of previous Annual Meeting evaluations and member surveys. The educational content was developed based on current issues and topic trends provided by the Arthroscopy Association of North America’s (AANA) leadership and membership.
Learning Objectives
At the conclusion of this educational activity participants will be able to:

1. Outline the common elbow injuries in athletes and the associated surgical procedures.

2. Explain the causes of elbow osteoarthritis in athletes.

3. Identify and highlight tips and techniques for decreasing the risk OA.
