This course covers lectures on HA, corticosteroids (traditional and the new sustained release product), and biologics in the management of OA of the knee. A 45-minute period will be devoted to case presentations and discussion.
At the conclusion of this educational activity participants will be able to:
  1. Know the latest science behind the use, indications, and reimbursement issues wth the use of hyaluronic acid in the treatment of OA of the knee.
  2. Know the role of corticosteroids (standard and the new sustained release products) in the management of OA of the knee.
  3. Understand the evolving science behind PRP and Stem Cells in the management of OA of the knee, now and in the future.
