ICL 107 State of the Art Approach to Chondral Injury
Target Audience
The primary target audience of the Arthroscopy Association of North America is members and non-members who desire to improve their arthroscopic knowledge and skills. Secondary audiences include international members, residents/fellows and other allied health professionals.
Statement of Need
The need for this internet enduring activity has been determined based on identifying professional practice gaps, review of previous Annual Meeting evaluations, Self-Assessment examination data and member surveys. The educational content was developed based on current issues and topic trends provided by the Arthroscopy Association of North America’s (AANA) leadership and membership.
Learning Objectives
At the conclusion of this educational activity participants will be able to:

1) identify current options for cartilage repair. 

2) define decision making related to the management of patients with symptomatic cartilage defects.

3) determine when to utilize ancillary procedures such as Osteotomy and Meniscal allografts in patients with symptomatic cartilage defects.
