At the conclusion of this educational activity participants will be able to:
- Identify the presentation, symptoms, physical exam features, and radiographic imaging of proximal hamstring injuries
- Review and apply proximal hamstring surgical anatomy and biomechanics and discuss treatment options, non-operative as well surgical, for partial hamstring tendon tears and complete tendon ruptures
- Discuss and compare the pearls and pitfalls of open vs arthroscopic surgical approaches
