ICL 102: Orthobiologics in the Treatment of Rotator Cuff Pathology
Target Audience
The primary target audience of the Arthroscopy Association of North America is members and non-members who desire to improve their arthroscopic knowledge and skills. Secondary audiences include international members, residents/fellows and other allied health professionals.
Statement of Need
The need for this internet enduring activity has been determined based on identifying professional practice gaps, review of previous Annual Meeting evaluations and member surveys. The educational content was developed based on current issues and topic trends provided by the Arthroscopy Association of North America’s (AANA) leadership and membership.
Learning Objectives
At the conclusion of this educational activity participants will be able to:

  1. Describe recent advances in biologics in treatment of rotator cuff pathology.

  2. Define basic science principles underlying new clinical treatment options.

  3. Describe regulatory guidelines and limitations to use of biologics in practice.
