Case-based Approach to the Management of AC Joint Injuries – An International Perspective (2021 Annual Meeting)

ICL Description
Through a case-based approach, this course will provide a comprehensive review of the diagnosis and management of AC joint injuries. Outcomes and return to play following AC and CC ligament reconstruction will also be discussed in detail. An international perspective will be incorporated throughout to highlight similarities and differences with management of AC joint injuries in the United States.
Learning Objectives
At the completion of the instructional course, the participants will be able to:
  1. Understand the anatomy, function, and common mechanisms of injury of the AC Joint.
  2. Discuss options for management of acute vs chronic AC joint injury.
  3. Review common complications and outcomes following AC and CC ligament reconstruction.
